Darrell Morgan
President
Darrell grew up in the fuel industry learning the family business from his father Lew and is the third generation of the Morgan family to service Northwestern Ontario's fuel and lubricant needs. Darrell became the President of Morgan Fuels in 1996 and works with his management team to ensure the company continues to be the company of choice for petroleum needs with excellence in customer service. As the company had grown and spread geographically Darrell has remained the team lead on strategic direction and spends a significant amount of time talking with customers to ensure they receive the value in service they demand. Darrell is actively involved in community activities and has been know to spend many hours on his boat catching fish.
Alan Howie
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Alan ensures the overall effective operation of the Morgan Group of companies. He has previous experience with Morgan Fuels as the Operations Manager, mixed with an additional 16 years of Municipal Management in senior roles. Working with a solid team approach in mind, Alan works to guide the 90 members of the Morgan Fuels team to ensure sales and operational excellence. Alan is active in fishing, hockey, his new interest of motorcycles and is a level 4 Hockey Canada Official.
Laurel Hakala
Chief Financial Officer
Laurel joined the Morgan Fuels team in January 2013 bringing experience in accounting, finance and management. She has a diploma in retail management and holds the professional designation of Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified General Accountant. Laurel plays a key role in planning, acquisitions, management and controllership of the company.
Jeff Deley
Sales & Marketing Manager
Jeff joined the Morgan Fuels team in 2022 with over 10 years experience in the fuel and transportation industries with a strong background in sales, marketing and operations. He graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba. Jeff oversees the sales and marketing functions of the company.
